Check Out - The Cellar, A Wine Radio Program

There are many wine shows on the internet these days. One noteworthy weekly program is “The Cellar” hosted by Richard Glover, Alisa Reese and Amber Chapman. It airs live each Monday, 7pm-8pm (EST) and allows for listeners to call in with their questions. The program is part of blis.fm, an internet radio network. 

 "The Cellar" is a provocative, unconventional commentary on wines and the world surrounding them. The program is an in-depth conversation about wine appreciation between experts and you!

Previous show topics have included South African wines, box vs. bottle wines, wines of Virginia, the wine region of Loire Valley (France), and wine pairing.

Black Coyote Winery

If you are visiting the Napa Valley area in July you may want to check out the 2^nd Annual Wine Club Summer BBQ Library Tasting at Black Coyote Chateau Winery, Saturday, July 7, 2012, 1pm-4pm. *Please note this event is for Black Coyote Wines club members only.

Black Coyote Wines was founded by Dr. Ernest Bates. Bates found his refuge in the Napa Valley in 1997 and inspired by the vines. Cruizin' with the Divas

The Divas Uncorked announces their second 'Divas at Sea' cruise. This fall they'll set sail for the Eastern Mediterranean aboard the Celebrity Cruises Celebrity Equinox cruise in partnership with AAA Southern New England. For 10 days (September 24-October 5) they'll ‘Sip on a Ship’ and visit historic ports including Athens, Istanbul, the fabled Greek Islands of Santorini and Mykonos as well as picturesque Capri, Italy. The Super Bowl is this weekend and I'm not sure if serving wine with your buffalo wings, chili, chips, burgers or brats are what your guests are expecting...but...if they are..here are a few suggestions:

Pair with a red wines such as Argentinean Malbec, Australian Shiraz or California Cabernet Sauvignon
